What makes Well Being Dentistry different from a traditional dentist?
Unlike traditional offices, we practice biological dentistry. This means we view oral health as a critical component of your entire body’s wellness. We use biocompatible materials, prioritize mercury-safe protocols (SMART), and evaluate how your teeth, airway, and nutrition impact your systemic health.
What should I expect during my first "Discovery Session"?
Your first visit is much more than a cleaning. It is a comprehensive assessment where we listen to your health goals, perform low-radiation digital diagnostics, and evaluate your gums, bite, and airway. We use co-diagnosis, meaning we show you exactly what we see on high-definition monitors to build a plan together.
How do I prepare for my first appointment?
To give you the most thorough care, we ask that you complete our Online Patient Forms before you arrive. These forms are unique; they cover sleep quality, nutritional habits, and sensitivities to metals or chemicals, allowing us to tailor our biocompatible treatments to your specific biology.
Insurance & Financing
Do you accept dental insurance for holistic treatments?
Yes! We work with most major PPO insurance plans. Our team is highly experienced in navigating the complexities of dental benefits. While some “holistic” procedures are specialized, we strive to code your treatments accurately to ensure your provider covers as much of the biocompatible alternative as possible.
What if I don't have dental insurance?
We believe wellness should be accessible to everyone. For patients without insurance, we offer an In-House Wellness Plan. This yearly membership covers your preventive care (cleanings, exams, and X-rays) and provides exclusive discounts on all of our biological services.
What financing options do you offer for large reconstructions?
For larger restorative cases, such as Zirconia implants or full-mouth mercury removal, we offer two flexible solutions:
CareCredit®: Ideal for interest-free financing for qualified applicants.
Cherry: A specialized option with high approval rates for larger-scale dental reconstructions.
Biological Care & Products
Why do you recommend Fluoride-Free products?
We focus on remineralizing enamel naturally. We recommend Hydroxyapatite-based toothpastes (like RiseWell or Boka) because they strengthen teeth using the same mineral your teeth are made of, without the systemic concerns associated with fluoride.
Are the products you recommend safe for sensitive patients?
Absolutely. We only recommend products free of artificial dyes, SLS (foaming agents), and endocrine disruptors. Our goal is to support a healthy oral microbiome by balancing pH and using natural ingredients like Xylitol and essential oils.
Do you offer guidance on supplements for dental health?
Yes. Strong teeth and jawbones require the right building blocks. We often discuss the importance of Vitamins K2, D3, and Magnesium as part of your customized treatment plan to ensure your body has what it needs to maintain your smile from the inside out.
